The latest update completely broke my project management environment. Projects and conversations are getting mixed up and displayed incorrectly, making everything extremely confusing and difficult to manage.
I use Antigravity for important work, including competition-related projects and legal/case-related materials. Having the app automatically force-update without clear controls, while also preventing rollback to a previous stable version, is unacceptable — especially for paying users.
After the update, I experienced:
Projects and conversations being mismatched or swapped
URL-encoded text appearing in project names
Frequent “Agent terminated due to error” crashes
UI elements disappearing
Repeated intrusive credit popups
Inability to reliably open or manage existing projects
Please investigate this urgently and provide:
A stable rollback option
A way to disable forced automatic updates
Guidance for recovering existing projects/workspaces safely
This update caused serious disruption to active work environments and created significant operational risk regarding important ongoing matters.
If this issue is not resolved appropriately and promptly, I will also consider seeking compensation for damages caused by the disruption and instability introduced by this forced update.
I have to agree, last nights update to V2.0 completely decoupled our project we are working on and now every conversation from the project is a separate project by itself, instead of being concatenated under the same project.
I hope this is fixes soon as I am for sure not throwing out 2 months of work made before last nights update and thread memory and history.
At least give us the possibility to merge the split conversation history messed up project structure now into one single thread or how ever users please.
Agree. Facing the same issue. Every conversation has become a new project. Also, I didn’t see the option to keep the antigravity IDE. I just clicked on update as usual, and all of a sudden after restart the IDE is gone.
Disaster of an update. Have spent over 3hrs getting back to stable and not there yet. The update 2.0 creates just an Agent Manager (totally separate UX with no IDE) which creates a new directory, with no reference to the prior for IDE. Then if you then download the new Antigravity IDE it doesn’t link back to Antigravity 1.X (the original stable IDE). You can manually copy some of your local app data into the new antigravity-ide directory but that doesn’t restore history nor does it create same UX settings. Just an absolute disaster of an update
Had the same issue.
After some hours of tinkering, I’ve tried the Antigravity Conversation Fix on github and it helped, BUT even though now I have only one project - and not 100 - only one conversation is linked to that project, while the others are just there, hangin on nothing and not related to any project. I have to rewrite tens of prompt, wasting tokens..
same here, I have all conversations now as projects, have wasted half a day trying to recover with no luck. Now I have tried to use worktrees to allow multiples agents on 1 working folder and the v2 app is locked in worktree mode in that folder and all other folders and no models will run reporting ‘selected model is not supported in the selected location’
unable to use in any way currently and all history of conversations is missing / inaccessible if not lost. Urget fix needed please.
The same thing happened to me. Since version 2.0 came out, I’ve already had to do two clean installs from scratch, losing valuable work time, because the update mechanism is completely useless and breaks everything, forcing you to reinstall and reconfigure everything from zero. It’s a total mess, really disappointing for a company like Google. They should be ashamed.
