Antigravity 2.0: 403 "No Valid License" error on a personal Free-tier account (other accounts work fine)

Description

Google Antigravity 2.0 fails to authorize my personal Google account the8tracktraders@gmail., Free tier) with a 403 Forbidden / PERMISSION_DENIED error, blocking all use of the app. The error claims no valid license is present for this account. Other Google accounts on the same PC work fine in the same app with no configuration changes, which points to an account-specific entitlement issue on the backend rather than a local install problem.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the Google Antigravity 2.0 desktop app on my PC (as usual)
  2. Sign in with my Google account
  3. Attempt to start or run an agent task
  4. Request fails immediately with a 403 error

Expected behavior:
Antigravity 2.0 should work normally with this account, the same way it does with my other account(s) on the same machine.

Actual behavior:
This specific account is rejected with a 403 Forbidden / PERMISSION_DENIED error stating no valid license was found, while my other Google account(s) work fine in the same app with no changes to setup.

Hi @The_8_Track_Traders,

Welcome to the forum.

Since your other Google accounts work normally on the same PC and installation, this points to an account-specific profile setting or cached OAuth state on the affected @gmail.com account. Please check the following for that specific account:

  1. Check Per-Account Region Association & Age Verification (Official FAQ):
    • Antigravity checks the registered country and age verification on each individual Google Account profile (not just your PC’s IP address), and returns the misleading 403 SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED (#3501) license error when a profile check fails.
    • While signed into the affected @gmail.com account in your browser, check your Google Terms of Service page to verify that the associated country matches your working accounts and is listed in our supported regions (if not, submit a request via the Country Association Form).
    • Confirm that age verification (18+) is completed for the affected account at Google Account Age Verification.
  2. Revoke Stale OAuth Grants & Re-Authenticate on Antigravity 2.0 v2.18.1:
    • Ensure you are running the latest Antigravity 2.0 (v2.18.1) release by downloading and running the latest .exe installer from the official download page (Changelog).
    • In Antigravity 2.0, go to Settings (bottom-left corner) → Account → Sign Out.
    • While signed into the affected account, visit Google Account Connections, remove access for Google Antigravity / Google Cloud Code, and then sign back in to Antigravity 2.0 selecting your personal @gmail.com account (not Enterprise or Google Cloud).
  3. If the Issue Persists: Please reply with the country listed on the affected account’s Terms of Service page, and attach either your diagnostic logs in a .txt file or an error screenshot (or submit a report via the in-app Send Feedback button ).
