AI Studio only makes one change and then keeps giving errors until you copy the app

Ah, just sounded like you had identified which files it were (you removed some files, and it worked, but broke when you re-added them).

The issue seems to have subsided in my project (for now). I removed my system prompt, but not sure if it was related. Are you using a system prompt?

No I dont use system prompt

Okay.

Looks like the issue isn’t resolved yet. Just ran into it again after 4 turns.

Makes it nearly impossible to implement any advanced functionality that can’t be one-shot. Any phased approach is bound to end up with an internal error.

edit: Officially trapped in one prompt → internal error hell now..

there’s some news it seems :eyes:

That’s neat =)

Maybe I can finally move away from my hacky solution for multiplayer in my project, and actually test it without having to download and run it locally.

NodeJS imports in sandbox, like this, are a bit jarring:

const wsModuleName = ['w', 's'].join('');
const { WebSocketServer: WSS } = await import(wsModuleName);
this._wss = new WSS({ server: this._httpServer });

But glad I still have a tab open with the old UI, as nothing seems to work in the new (nothing gets generated).

well now it seems I cannot view my code ^^’

Looks like it’s not completely finished baking yet.

Maybe worth grabbing a zip copy of your project now, if you still can. Just in case something gets borked.

Yeah I’ve backup fortunately, ppl complaint about migration right now, I’ll let the night pass and see tomorrow ^^

Now I’m used to create all again and put all the files etc… So let’s hope this will be the last time and go comeback like before <3

Even though there have been changes to the settings, it’s probably for the better, they’ve reacted.

Yep, might be time for a little break, until things are in order :]

Hopefully it’ll fix the one-prompt-internal-error bug too.

And yes, especially the new history view feels a lot nicer (and faster).

Also, I really really hope they added pruning of turns this time around!

Well… Cannot use it for now ^^’

Maybe after the daily refresh it will be back at normal

Yea, same here.

I could make it do a fresh project (their multiplayer whiteboard example), but any attempt at migrating existing projects fail.

Uploading a project as a zip into a fresh instance, just nukes the content and creates a Gemini chat app in its place xD

yes pretty broken still :confused:

I wait 9minutes there will be the daily reset of google, might help

I had already taken three days off before that. Google definitely wants to give me more vacation days xD*

The daily reset won’t magically solve all our problems… we’ll have to be even more patient. :confused:

I see on certain networks that some people can use it without any apparent problems. Is this due to regional restrictions at the moment?

Edit : Still have the “Failed to initialize applet.”

Should be back between now and 02/21 apparently so juste need to wait until :crossed_fingers:

Where exactly did you get that info? Are you telling me this could actually stay broken for 2 days? That’s an insane amount of downtime for a platform like this.

I’ve ask in their Discord

Looks like something is happening, which is nice.

From what I’ve been able to fiddle around with in the new version, it does seem like an improvement (especially performance wise), and the move to make it more like a local dev environment is great.

The removal of the ‘Clear chat’ does seem like a regression, and the ‘Remix’ seems like a weird move. But let’s see how it turns out once we start using it. Maybe it all makes sense once it starts working correctly.

check this one ! if real, would be amazing ! Why does Gemini always rewrite entire scripts and not just copy and paste code instead? - #8 by Sensi

Yea, saw that one. Would be pretty amazing if true =D

well, look like it’s not today again x), tomorrow will be a better day…
