AI Studio image generation fails with 500 Internal Server Error (Nano Banana)

Hi,
I have a problem with Google AI Studio image generation (Nano Banana).

Text generation works normally, but every image generation request fails with:
“Internal error encountered” (HTTP 500).

It has been happening for 4 days.

I tested:

  • Chrome normal mode

  • Incognito mode (no extensions)

  • Different prompts (even simple ones)

The request always fails at:
MakerSuiteService/GenerateContent → 500 Internal Server Error

Please help reset or fix the image generation access on my account.

Thanks for the report and apologies for the late response. One of our engineers checked on this and it looks like it was a transitory issue on our end. Apologies for that. Hopefully things are working well for you again now.
