Hello. AI Studio does not format markdown, it shows ##, ** and etc. It’s a bug or setting I missed?

Hope you’re keeping well.
AI Studio’s preview pane currently renders plain text responses from the model by default, so markdown formatting like ## or ** will appear as literal characters unless the output is explicitly rendered in a markdown-capable UI. If you want the model’s output to display as formatted text, you’ll need to consume the API response in your own app or notebook and render it with a markdown parser. There’s no setting in AI Studio to switch this on at the moment, so this is expected behavior rather than a bug.
