Hi, It seems that since the last update, copying and pasting in plain text is problematic. When pasting the chat text into a text editor, it does not retain the formatting. Preview in the screenshots.

I’ve attempted to reproduce the issue you described, but I haven’t been successful so far.

I also noticed this change today.
Previously, the Copy Text popup would work correctly and preserve the formatting of the generated text.
But today, it is not preserving the format, and the pasted text looks like a big blog of text that I need to manually clean up.
Please look into what changed recently that could have downgraded this feature.

Yes, the issue persist in standard mode. To get it done, we must enable the option “Show conversation without markdown formating” located in the right top of the chat.

I’ve attempted to reproduce the issue on my end, but I was unable to see the formatting loss when copying from AI Studio and pasting into a plain text editor.
To help me investigate this further, could you please provide some additional details about your setup, such as your operating system and version, your browser and version and the specific plain text editor you are pasting into?

I don’t think it’s a issue anymore. If the option " “Show conversation without markdown formating ”" is enabled, then the formating is well preserved.
