Hi everyone,
Ran into an issue with Google AI Studio. My web app was suddenly hit with the banner: “App suspended for abuse — This app was suspended for violations of our policies.” Right after that, the whole thing just vanished from my dashboard, so I can’t even open it or check what happened.
Pretty sure this is a false positive from an automated filter. Right before the ban, the session started throwing persistent “An internal error occurred” popups on model responses. I thought it was a local network glitch or a frozen UI, so I sent a few quick test words into the chat (“test”, “проверка”, etc.) to see if the session was still alive. Seconds later, the app got flagged for abuse and disappeared. Looks like the filter treated these quick messages during the backend error as rate spam or abuse.
The app itself is completely clean:
-
A client-side PWA travel guide (React 19, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Zustand, Firebase).
-
Just renders offline Markdown travel docs, handles notes/bookmarks, and uses anonymous auth with trip codes for sharing.
-
Content is strictly travel routes and UI code. No scraping, no loops, no credentials or personal data.
Project details:
-
Google Cloud Console is clean — no flags, suspensions, or warnings.
-
No policy emails received.
Could someone from the team or a moderator look into this and run a manual review so I can recover the session?
