I had a several hour Google AI mode conversation that decided to crash then lost 5 hours of recent history. Luckily I had copied my last reply before the crash, then searched phrasing from that in AI mode history to find that most recent part of the conversation, but the chat won’t open again at that point and won’t let me share the link so I can continue. I asked Google AI about the error and it said “Since the conversation is still recorded in your history but won’t open (indicating a loading bug), your best chance for a workaround is to access the history via a different browser or a different device (like a computer) and manually copy the text.”
Can someone help as I have cleared cache, and done all the other steps I can think of, but the conversation still won’t load

I have this problem as well now for several weeks affecting the only way to offset ongoing irreparable harm in a high stakes situation where the AI mode history in Google search is not retaining the convo’s in totality so one can both reference and continue them accordingly.
I have same problem via Chrome AI mode, very annoying(
me too, I’m really upset about it. lost an hours long conversation as well. does ANYONE have a fix? any way to get the exact thread back? like google… very upsetting
Help me too, I can still search the conversation in the history, it also shows the conversation, but whenever i click it, it opens a new conversation with that title. so surely the data is still in Google’s server. Please help me retrieve it 
i tried going to the activity history and such but i cant find it there either…
I know this was posted a while ago, but I came across it while experiencing the exact same issue and wanted to share in case it still helps you or anyone else who finds this thread.
I found a way to view the full saved conversation through Chrome. Under AI Mode History, click Settings, then See my AI Mode History. Find the conversation you want, click Details, and you should be able to view and copy whatever was saved.
Unfortunately, I don’t think it lets you continue the same thread, and it may not restore the five hours that disappeared, but it could at least help you recover and copy whatever is still recorded.
I’ve started moving my longer conversations to a different AI model so I don’t risk losing my progress again. Hope this helps!!
Over and over again my AI Mode very important conversations on Google Chrome just stop in the middle of the conversation with just moving dots on the top of the left of my screen and they do absolutely nothing and there’s no way to get the conversation back even if I sometimes get lucky enough to find the conversation again it still keeps doing this.
It does this when I’m using my android smartphone and tablet and I really wish there was a cure for this!
