AI Credit Overages toggle not working — send button unresponsive with Claude/non-Gemini models

Hi everyone. I have 1000 AI Credits available and “Enable AI Credit Overages” is toggled ON, but when I select Claude Sonnet 4.6 (quota exhausted), the send button is completely unresponsive — clicking it does nothing. It only works when I switch back to Gemini 3 Flash.

Seems like this feature was just released today and others are having the same issue. Is this a known bug? Any workaround?

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Exhaust quota on Claude Sonnet 4.6

  2. Enable AI Credit Overages toggle

  3. Select Claude Sonnet 4.6 as model

  4. Type a message → send button does nothing

Expected: Credits used automatically Actual: Button completely unresponsive
