Hello, after almost two years investigating, coding, and using different AI models, I’ve noticed the following:
Tokens would be more expensive and limited, only for users who can afford to pay.
I’ve noticed all the models have reduced their quotas. I’m guessing all the AI companies started losing money by making these models accessible to everyone, and now they cannot make this sustainable.
This is just my opinion, so if you are developing a project, act quickly, because AI will be more expensive and limited.
I completely understand your concern, but the reality is that running these models at scale simply can’t be free.
The $20/month subscriptions we’re used to were clearly designed as a consumer-level price just for casual “chatting” and building hype. For serious developers and companies building actual infrastructure, a realistic and sustainable price should range between $100 and $200 a month. That’s the true cost of enterprise-level productivity. Just my opinion!
No sense. This is not why tokens have gotten more expensive over last 2 years. Simply, initially the first models were really bad, and if they charged more money, nobody would have paid for them. Now the models are at a point where they can be used in enterprise projects in meaninful cost and time saving ways, which is the reason for the price increase.
yeah of course bc it is expensive to run and maintain . But see the goodside after wrting 90 percent of code ( i dont know how). Companies will again need to hire human agent bc token price will be more expensive than a human. I see no problem here
