Hello Google AI Team,
I am writing to request a review of my account suspension regarding Gemini CLI and Antigravity access.
Situation: My account was suspended from using the CLI/Antigravity due to a Terms of Service violation. However, my Gemini Web App is still functioning normally.
Actions Taken:
-
I have already submitted the official appeal form (https://forms.gle/hGzM9MEUv2azZsrb9) multiple times and checked “Yes, I understand” to acknowledge the policy regarding third-party tools.
-
I have completely removed all unauthorized third-party software (such as OpenClaw/Claude Code) and cleared my local credentials/tokens.
-
I am committed to using only official SDKs and API keys (via AI Studio) moving forward.
Request: It has been 4 days since my first submission, and I haven’t received any updates or restoration of service. Could a staff member please look into my case or provide an estimate on the processing time?
Thank you for your support.
I don’t have access to your account so ai cabt explain what your particular issue. There were concerns of a cloned agent and was trying to distribute the fakes. I’m unsure if this is the case with your issue. You are reaching out from ai studio? Or are you a Gemini Enterprise owner?
I think I found the root cause! I am on an older macOS (Big Sur) and previously attempted to run an older version of Antigravity.
It allowed me to log in but failed to execute commands, which likely triggered the automated security flags due to incompatible API calls. I realized this was an error and have since completely deleted the old Antigravity tool.
I am now only using the Official Gemini CLI, but my OAuth identity remains stuck in the ‘Suspended’ state caused by that old version’s activity. Since this was a technical incompatibility issue and not a ToS violation, could you please help me request a manual reset of my OAuth flags? My Case ID is 3-2592000040828.
I would like to add more context for the Antigravity team: I am using an older macOS (Big Sur) and previously attempted to run an older version of Antigravity.
The old version allowed OAuth login but failed to execute commands. I suspect this technical incompatibility triggered the automated security ‘Suspension’ flag on my OAuth identity.
I have now completely removed the old tool and cleared all authorized apps from my Google Security settings. I am only seeking to use the official Gemini CLI now. Could you please help me manually reset the OAuth flag for my account?

Hello @Olivaveles_Bg @universal64, welcome to Google AI Forum!
We have heard your feedback regarding recent bans linked to third-party tool usage. We are currently rolling out a system-wide automated unban for all affected accounts.
We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance the Antigravity experience. More details on TOS ,
Thank you for the update and the transparency! I am glad to hear about the system-wide unban for those affected by the third-party tool flags.
I have already removed all incompatible versions and am looking forward to using the Official Gemini CLI on my account . I will wait for the automated process to complete.
Appreciate the hard work from the Antigravity team!
Update: Account Unbanned but CLI stuck in infinite loop
My account (oliv***sbg3@gmail.com) was successfully unbanned (Thank you!), but I am now facing a technical roadblock.
Issue:
When using Gemini CLI (v0.35.3) with my Pro account, the process hangs indefinitely at:
“This is taking a bit longer, we’re still on it”
It never completes (waited for 50+ mins).
Diagnostics performed:
-
Verified that a Free account works perfectly on the same machine/environment.
-
Issue is specific to my Pro account.
-
Tried downgrading to v0.34.0, disabling hooks, and restarting the OS.
-
Cleared local sessions and revoked OAuth permissions from Google Security settings, but the hang persists.
-
Tested with lower-tier models (non-Pro), same result.
It seems there is a backend synchronization issue specifically for my Pro Profile metadata after the unban. Could a staff member please check if my account is stuck in a “provisioning” state for CLI access?
After the TOS was changed in early March, I’ve only been using Antigravity’s IDE, but today I was also banned and can’t use it. I still don’t know why, and I submitted an appeal form. On top of the current quota issues, I’m certain that I will cancel my Ultra subscription.
Hi @Abhijit_Pramanik and the Antigravity Team,
I have some devastating news. Shortly after the automated unban was announced, my account (olivav***63@gmail.com) was BANNED AGAIN on April 1st. I received an official email stating: “Access to some features of Google Cloud Platform has been disabled due to abusive activity.”
Context: After the first unban, I was using the Official Gemini CLI (v0.35.3) but it was stuck in an infinite loop (“This is taking a bit longer”). I suspect my attempts to resolve this ‘stuck’ state triggered a second automated flag in the GCP security system.
I am a Google One Pro member and I have a Case ID: 3-2592000040828. This is clearly a “false positive loop.”
Could you please help me escalate this specifically to the GCP Trust & Safety team? I am losing my data and development progress. This is the second false ban in 48 hours.
I fall in the same category of banned users, who has never received any kind of response. The appeal google doc doesn’t seem to do much. What can I do?
I got banned too? I’m on macos sequoia. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on, my api key works, but regular google auth login does not.
