Account restricted to AQ. prefix keys — requesting AIza restoration

Hello Google AI Support Team,

My account has been restricted following an API key leak incident during my application deployment. Since then, even when creating a key via the Google Cloud Console, the system only generates “AQ.” prefix keys instead of the standard “AIza…” format.

This format is causing authentication errors in my development environment. The leaked key has been completely deleted and my environment variables are now fully secured. Could you please review my account restriction and restore the ability to generate standard AIza API keys?

We are moving away from Traffic keys (Alza) and towards a more secure Authentication Key (AQ). AI Studio will now only generate Authentication Key (AQ) keys. More information on key usage can be found in the Using Gemini API keys documentation.

Please submit any compatibility issues with services / SDKs etc. in this form for our engineering team to review. Thanks!
