Account restricted to AQ. tokens — Requesting standard AIza key restoration PLS

Hello Google AI Support Team,

My account has been restricted and is currently only generating “AQ…” prefix tokens instead of the standard “AIza” API keys across all my projects.

I accidentally exposed a key in my repository environment, but I have completely resolved the issue. I deleted the compromised keys, updated my .gitignore, and moved my credentials securely to a local .env file using environment variables Could you please review my account status and restore my ability to generate standard AIza API keys?

We are moving away from Traffic keys (Alza) and towards a more secure Authentication Key (AQ). AI Studio will now only generate Authentication Key (AQ) keys. More information on key usage can be found in the Using Gemini API keys documentation.
