Account ineligible for higher rate limits despite active AI Ultra subscription — troubleshooting steps already tried

Hello,

I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing the following error in Antigravity: “This account is ineligible for higher rate limits through a Google AI plan at this time.”

I have an active, fully paid Google AI Ultra subscription, specifically upgraded in order to get the maximum plan on Antigravity, with no payment issues on my account. Despite this, my account remains stuck on the “Antigravity Starter Quota” and does not recognize my Ultra entitlement.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps, and none of them resolved the issue:

  • Fully signed out of my Google account, cleared browser cache and cookies, then signed back in
  • Used “Antigravity: Reset Onboarding” via the command palette
  • Cleared local Antigravity cache folders and reinstalled the application
  • Verified that my account is not part of a Google Family group
  • Confirmed my age is verified and my country (France) is within the supported regions

I’ve also submitted a support request and used the “Send Feedback” option within the app, but I have not received a resolution yet.

Given that I meet all the eligibility requirements (age, region, active paid Ultra subscription), I believe this is a server-side synchronization issue between my Google One/AI entitlement and Antigravity, similar to cases reported by other users on this forum.

Could someone from the team please look into my account and manually force a resynchronization of my entitlement? I’m happy to provide any additional account details needed.

Thank you for your help, I’d really appreciate a quick resolution given the cost of the subscription.

Best regards,
Cyril

Hi @cyril_brahimi,

Can you please try these steps:

  • Verify Your Account Is Purely Personal (Not Workspace-Linked) Even without a Google Family group, if your Gmail is attached to any Google Workspace organization, the eligibility check sometimes queries the org policy and returns “ineligible”. Check myaccount.google.com — if you see an organization name under your email, try signing in with a fully personal Gmail to test.

  • Verify Your Google Terms of Service Country:

    • Go to My Account → Data & Privacy → Your country and confirm it shows France.
  • Full OS-Level Credential Purge.

    • On macOS, open Keychain Access and delete any “antigravity” or “google-agy” entries, then also delete:
      • rm -rf ~/.gemini

        rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Antigravity\ IDE

  • On Windows, also check Windows Credential Manager → Windows Credentials for any Antigravity entries.

If none of the above resolves it, this requires manual account-level remediation by the Google team. I’d recommend:

  • Contacting Google One support at support.google.com/googleone and specifically requesting that your AI Ultra entitlement be re-provisioned for Antigravity
  • When using in-app Send Feedback, include the exact error message text and your Antigravity version
