My project in Google AI Studio suddenly stopped working out of nowhere.
I’ve been prototyping it for about 2 weeks, and everything was working perfectly. Today, while making some updates, I had to step away for a short moment (I had saved it while working fine).
When I came back, the project wouldn’t run anymore and showed this error:
Uncaught TypeError: cannot read properties of null (reading 'useMemo')
I thought it was just a bug, so I reverted to previous versions. But now ALL versions show the same error, even the earliest ones that hadn’t been opened for 3 weeks.

Help! I deployed and have a working basic app I am happy with but then all went sideways in a coding loop. It’s now toast. I tried copying the app, but it was too late and the github commits are also too late (how would one restore one anyway?).
But I have a working deployed app. How do I get that back into AI studio? Or do I have to start again. Please no!

Oh no, that’s the worst. I think if you deployed it, I don’t think it messes up the version you deployed with what you’re testing in AI Studio, unless you redeploy. I went through something similar, and it took days of troubleshooting between myself, Gemini, ChatGPT, ChatGPT in Agent mode to look at the Firebase consoles for any hint of how AI Studio connected to the Firebase console. I’m curious if anyone found a way to restore your version. Good luck!
Seems like many users are running into deployment or verification issues. Hoping Google provides clearer troubleshooting steps soon.

Since yesterday the file sharing via google drive stopped working the way it did.
When I share my google drive project folder in the google ai studio, it reads now only one single file form the entire project folder.
so, it stopped accessing all the content on the project folder.
it contains lots of files and subfolders, but it reads only 1.
I hope this is a bug.
if this is a new update, I am out of google ai studio for good.
this made it overnight unusable for me.

I subscribed to Gemini Pro/Advanced expecting it to cover AI Studio, but the limits didn’t reset. I believe the branding is misleading and the billing between Gemini Advanced and AI Studio is a terrible experience. Not having a tiered subscription model as option is going to cost AI Studio customers.

Lots of strange things happening with Google Drive / GitHub connections. In my case about 15 projects disappeared from “my apps” after being visible but with wrong label “Created by someone else”. I can see the files in Google AI studio folder in my Google Drive, but cant restore them. That kind of sucks that it’s not an obvious feature in AI studio.
Are you picking up on this dreadful quota exceeded issue? If so when will it be acknowledged by Google and what is being done to correct it?
Thank you for AI Studio, The new version the download files buttom is gone? That was need so when you create multipal AI models you can download it and add your API fro grok and others. That or you just get gemini pretending to be the other models. And I was just going to use it to create a web site. I like and I use it for everything. You should develop a market place like google play for android but for computers. Offer billing and stuff like that. A lot of us don’t know how to do that kind of stuff. But you remember how popular My space was. Yes I’m older and some may not know what I am talking about. But It allows people who can’t code to create stuff. Or help me design it and ill do it. I just need to know the vocabulary some of the lay out. And I can build it. And would need google to red team it. I would Host it on Google cloud. Its a win win. Go look at my account.
