429 errors for Gemini 2 Flash with Paid Tier 3

Hi,

We are experiencing consistent (i.e. any time we call) 429 errors when using Gemini 2 Flash (gemini-2.0-flash-001) on Google AI Studio. Our usage is below limits and our code uses rate limiting to ensure we do not exceed. We do not experience the same error with Gemini 2.5 Flash or Gemini 3.

Using this mode has helped us eliminate 429 errors while accessing gemini via Vertex AI

Priority PayGo does not support the model he’s having issues with (flash 2.0).

The GEMINI FLASH 2.0 001 model has been discontinued and is consequently inoperable. We recommend procuring an updated version.
