30 day trial is actually fully Paid service

Hi all,

I want to report what I consider a deceptive and unacceptable experience with Google. A 30-day free trial was clearly advertised, which I signed up for in good faith. Despite this, my credit card was charged, as shown on the billing page.

I contacted support to resolve the issue, but instead of addressing the problem, I received generic and irrelevant responses. Even after providing clear screenshots and explicitly explaining the discrepancy, my concerns were ignored and the unauthorized charges remain.

This is not only misleading but also a serious breach of trust.

P.S. They are still sending me emails claiming that I have a 30-day trial, clearly attempting to LURE me into using the service again and potentially charging my credit card once more.

The trial was advertised as including $300 in free usage. I used only $40 of that amount, yet I was still charged.

DO NOT USE Google service.

Hey! Very sorry for the confusion here. Can you share where the 30 day trial mentioned anything related to AI Studio or the Gemini API? We removed both from the Google Cloud free trial because AI Studio is already free in most cases and the Gemini API already has a free tier. Happy to go fix where ever there might still be confusion here.

Hello, @Logan_Kilpatrick any chance you guys could fix the code blocks and formatting that disappears when a reply with code from gemini 3.1 pro preview is longer than a set amount in the playground? Please..
This issue often causes having to re-send a prompt many times, by asking the model to re-provide those files, but in smaller batches, it wastes a lot of compute for you, and a lot of tokens for us, for absolutely no reason.. Note: the original reply that has the formatting etc disappearing was never longer than the max output. It happens with any combination of settings, all the times, 100% reproducible.
I’ve reported this bug many times but I feel that nobody cares..
