After subscribing for the Google one - Google AI Pro program, I got one month free with a daily quota on Nano-Banana-Pro generations.
During my free month, I activated Vertex AI, which “upgraded” and turned my free month into “pay as you go” without me being informed about this change. I was charged 100 euros, without knowing, even if my free month subscription ends at 7 Jan 2026.
Now, my free month is not free anymore.
The support of Google Cloud had no clue of what is going on with Google Studio, but when registering to Google Studio, the Google Cloud asks for credit card information.

I recommend reach out directly with Google Cloud Billing support team for assistance regarding your Vertex AI usage during the free trial and any related billing issues. They will be able to review your account details and clarify your problems related billing.
@Nireeksha_K_A I just went through the same issue now that I have my own API key and Google Labs I’m paying more for “more” cost and services. I need to get this resolved also I had a strange super spike that expired my budget. But even after raising my limits I get a “server busy” error
