Thank you for reaching out! I tested on my end and was able to upload a ZIP file in AI studio. This appears to be a temporary issue. Please try the following steps:

Refresh the AI Studio page or open it in a new browser window.

Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then sign in again.
Let us know if the issue persists after trying these steps.
Hi @Nireeksha_K_A I’ve tried this as well and it no longer works for me. I’ve been regularly uploading zip files (last time was Thursday 11th December), and this has not worked for me since Tuesday 16th December.
I’ve tried deleting the browser’s cache and cookies, as well as using a fresh browser installation.

Could you please share a screenshot of what you’re seeing while uploading the ZIP files, and also let me know which model you’re using?
Here’s the screenshot as asked for. Model used is Gemini Pro 3.
I’m currently away from the computer for a few days, so I did the test using the chat interface of AI Studio - it gives the same response, “Unsupported file type selected.”, whereas it worked fine up to mid December.
Get the same result when using other Gemini models.
