The file upload tool seems to be currently graying out python files.

Could you please provide more details? Specifically, are there any error messages, and which Gemini model are you currently using?
There are no error messages. When I click on the “Insert images, audio, videos and files” icon, the browser file upload tool opens up. But python files are all grayed out. So I can’t seem to select them.
I am using a mac (14.1.1 (23B81)) and google chrome (Version 143.0.7499.42 (Official Build) (arm64))
I have not checked to see if the problem persists on other browsers.
Other people seem to be facing the same issue. This is happening across models
same cant upload zip files anymore.

Thanks, I just checked and it works.
This has again seemed to have stopped working
@Hari_Nair @Mrinal_Ghosh I can’t upload again. 
I am able to upload Python files successfully, if you have more details on what is not working, please share them!
Ahh, seems like you are referring to build mode, we don’t support code uploads but that is something we will push on!

Now I can only upload one Python file at a time.
