Do I need to upload my video to YouTube and set it to public, or can I set it to unlisted? Also, can I upload it to another platform instead of YouTube?
Googlers don’t seem to be replying to most posts at this point, so just in case you’re wondering, you can also make your URL “private” so only people who know it can see it.
Note that if you make it private, there is a high possibility that the judges will not be able to see it, so it is probably not recommended.
There is also an explanation that it is possible to post on another platform, but since the Youtube URL is required in the app’s posting form, I think you will have to add it to the Youtube post and post on other media (in that case, (hashtag required)

Public or unlisted are okay! It does have to be a YouTube link though! sorry for the delay. @Jun_KOBAYASHI @My_Tr_n_Ph_ng
Thanks for the reply!
How many submissions are there likely to be?
I’ll say at least 3.
I walked into that one, lol. I see over 600 youtube videos tagged for the competition… so at least that
welcome to the world of developers universe, pleasure to c you here man
My video was unlisted… I made it public today on 24th Aug, will that lead to disqualify?
@Lloyd_Hightower
I believe Lloyd replied in another thread to say both public and unlisted videos are acceptable.
Yes, but since I made this public today (which was unlisted by now). The published date has been also updated for today.
I don’t think the video ID or the video url changes after switching from unlisted to public. Chances are that your submission form video link hasn’t changed either. Hopefully this won’t be a deal breaker for the judges since you actually didn’t change the video content or video url since submission.
It’s impossible to change the video content without changing a video url so you should be fine.
Thanks for replying:-) Yep video link haven’t changed just the published date got updated
