My bill seems to be about double this quoted cost. I generated two videos, in 720p widescreen, each 8s long on the $0.40/second endpoint and a single 8s video in 720p on the “fast” endpoint @ $0.15/second which I calculate to be roughly $7.60 in generation cost but the bill I show is $13.20 and I only see the 3 instances of veo-3 generations on my aistudio/cloud console billing sections.
Any thoughts?

The “RPD” seem to indicate I generated 3 of each type of movie but I only made 3 total videos.

The price per generated Veo 3 video is way too high. I guess this is about throttling demand, since Fast videos can be generated for free with an Ultra sub on Flow. I still wish Google would adjust their demand regulation methods differently, because right now I wont use the API for even prototyping, it is just way overpriced for an individual.
EDIT: I see Sora 2 has cheaper fast and mid model API generations. May the competition be fierce, automating video generation is the only sustainable way to produce any kind of long-ish content.
