Using AGENTS.md and Rules on the Agent chat

Hi!

I’m having an issue using the Google Gemini agent in Android Studio. When talking to the agent, you have the chance to mark some checkboxs with AGENTS.md files and RULES. I’m asking the agent himself how to setup this files but it gives not very accurate instructions, and when I add a file with rules on the root folder of the project, it’s unnable to find it and retrieve its information.

Could anybody provide some clarifications about how to use this files?
