Use case verification — AI portrait service for end users (pre-launch, RGPD-compliant)

Hello AI Developers community + Google team,

I’m building Visago tryvisago com), a Belgium-based B2C SaaS that generates professional AI portraits for users from their own selfies. I’d like to request verification that my use case is acceptable under the Gemini API terms, and avoid future automatic denials.

About the use case:

  • Users explicitly consent to AI generation of their own image (uploaded selfies → AI portraits for LinkedIn, CV, professional use)
  • No third-party faces, no identity misuse — full RGPD/GDPR compliance
  • Detailed Terms of Service
  • Privacy Policy
  • Operating from Belgium, EU jurisdiction

Current status:
We are in pre-launch testing phase — not yet open to real paying customers. We’re running internal validation tests with the founder and a small group of beta testers before official launch (planned in the coming weeks).

This explains the higher API volume in recent days — these were quality validation tests, not abuse. In production, real customer usage will be much more spread out (a few orders per day, each customer placing one order).

Previous issue:
My initial Google Cloud project was automatically denied access (PERMISSION_DENIED — Your project has been denied access), likely flagged by automated anti-deepfake systems due to repeated portrait generations with reference images. I created a new project (visago-2) and the Gemini API works there now, but I want to make sure this won’t happen again.

Questions for the Google team / community:

  1. Is my use case acceptable under the Gemini 2.5 Flash Image terms of service?
  2. What are the best practices for legitimate, high-volume portrait generation to avoid automatic denial? (rate limits, account verification, business documentation, etc.)
  3. Is there a verified business / commercial customer program I should join?
  4. Could the original project access be restored, or should I just continue with the new one?

I’m happy to provide additional documentation: business registration, RGPD compliance docs, technical architecture, sample consent flow.
