Unable to generate video using Veo-2 in Google ai studio

Recently, multiple users (including myself) have observed that the VO2 video generation feature in Google AI Studio is not functioning for free-tier users, even though the interface shows an available quota (e.g., 10/10). When attempting to generate a video using either an image or a text prompt, the process runs briefly and then displays an error message stating “Quota exceeded. Please try again later.”

This behavior is consistent across devices, browsers, and networks, suggesting a backend-level issue rather than a user-side problem.

Dear why it seems like Google ai studio Veo-2 wanted to use paid version now because don’t understand why 10/10 is strangled us definitely Veo is the best but a solution must be on your side at least you can allow few generations free
