[Ultra] Dramatic quota reduction after update — this needs an official explanation

Comigo acontece a mesma coisa.

Ok let’s leave this thread, they r not gonna change anything, they did it on purpose, that’s all

they «enhancing our experience» :upside_down_face:

I got 1½ months refund for my AI Ultra package. I can only suggest others attempt the same.

It’s pure and simple breach of contract they did and they are absolutely aware of it.

goodbye google!

80% just one prompt is crazy on ultra plan btw

how, because ive had enough!!! .. i tried to be patient but its unbearable now!.

First they completely disrespected us by changing the usage limits. and now with every update comes issues. the quality has degraded soo much because of this “The model’s generation exceeded the maximum output token limit” bug! .. its ruining my project!

ive been on the Ultra plan from the very start!!

I went from telling EVERYONE how AMAZING antigravity and google ecosystem was to cancelling everything and moving to CURSOR. It has everything and more.

I will try to avoid as many google services as I can now, and tell as many people along the way. Purely down to the way, they just destroy and change paid products and usage terms over night, and the terrible pretty much non-existent customer support.

Businesses need consistency google knows that better than anyone.

I used cursor and not liked it. I use claude now its amazing.

it’s super amazing i like how smart it is! and its 4.7 not 4.6

Today!

This silent “shadow-nerfing” of Family Group quotas is completely unacceptable.

For months you explicitly stated — and users confirmed — that family members on a shared Google AI Pro/Ultra plan each received independent rate limits and quotas. Developers have been relying on this to test and build with Antigravity. Today, without any notice, changelog entry, email, or announcement, you unilaterally flipped the entire system to a shared pool. Now entire families are getting rate-limited together with zero warning.

This is not a minor backend tweak. This is a material change that directly impacts paying customers and free-tier testers. The lack of transparency is arrogant and disrespectful. If you decided to end the independent quota benefit to stop “abuse,” then own it publicly. Don’t just flip the switch in the dark and hope nobody notices until the complaints flood in.

We deserve clear answers immediately:

  1. When exactly did this change take effect?

  2. Is this permanent, or will independent quotas be restored?

  3. Why was there zero communication?

Stop treating your users like they’re too stupid to notice or too powerless to complain. This kind of underhanded policy change destroys trust. Either explain yourselves properly or roll it back.

We’re waiting.

Event though I had Google AI Pro subscription, same issue with that. I got first, 5h quota, after that, suddenly 5 days of waiting. I just discontinued my subscription.

Google had offer for Google One 2TB owners to upgrade Google AI Pro subscription, first 6 months 12€/month… I wonder why.

Currently Antigravity is 100% unusable for anything.

and Ultra users like you, thinking you’re more important than other people, cos money…

For the record: Google has enabled zero-confirmation refund for any Ultra plan transactions. So basically, the moment you issue the refund request from https://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory , it will be instantly granted.

It started to happen again. Gemini 3.1 Pro does not work with pro susbscription

I opened Antigravity after 5 days without using it, I ask to check a function in a file and half second after pressing intro : “Your plan’s baseline quota will refresh on 4/30/2026, 2:24:44 PM. You can upgrade to the Google AI Ultra plan to receive the highest rate limits. “

Is this a joke?? None a single use and the limits gone!! This happened 2 times already, I mean waited until the due date and the limit’s gone without using it

I want to formally protest the recent Antigravity quota changes. From the user side, this feels like an unannounced downgrade, not a normal “credit structure adjustment.” When Antigravity first launched, the quota was generous enough to support real development work. Now the effective usable quota has dropped by more than 90% in practice. The Pro tier is almost unusable for serious coding, and even Ultra users, who pay for the highest tier, are now being hit with sudden quota exhaustion, lockouts, and vague upgrade/credit messaging.

What makes this especially unacceptable is the lack of transparency. Users were not clearly notified before the limits changed. There was no honest explanation, no detailed usage visibility, and no clear distinction between a bug, a policy change, or a pricing downgrade. Quietly reducing the value of a paid subscription after users have already paid is not just bad product management, it is disrespectful to customers and, in my view, violates basic consumer rights and trust.

If this quota reduction is intentional, Google should say so publicly, explain the exact new limits, and offer refunds or compensation to affected Pro and Ultra subscribers. If it is a bug, it should be acknowledged and fixed immediately. Either way, Antigravity users deserve transparency, not silent nerfs dressed up as “AI credits.”

I really want to love Antigravity. When it works, the agent-first workflow is great. But the current state of the platform—and the absolute lack of communication from the team—is making it really hard to justify keeping my Ultra subscription active.

I’ve sent multiple emails to support about these issues and have received zero replies. So, I’m bringing it to the forum hoping someone from the actual development team can give us paying subscribers a reasonable update.

1. The Silent Reduction in Ultra Limits What is going on with the quotas? We are paying for the highest tier, yet we are suddenly getting hit with massive limit reductions. Many of us are getting “High Traffic” errors that instantly turn into multi-day lockouts after asking a single question. If you are going to throttle the Ultra tier, you need to communicate that transparently, not just lock our accounts.

2. Where is Claude Opus 4.7? Anthropic released Opus 4.7 over a week ago. It’s a massive leap for complex reasoning and agentic coding, yet Antigravity is still stuck on 4.6. A huge reason we pay for this platform is to have access to the latest models in one unified IDE.

3. The Claude Code Max Comparison I’m just being honest here: with the way Antigravity is currently performing, Anthropic’s Claude Code Max tier is looking like a significantly better value. If I switch to their Max plan, I get actual access to Opus 4.7 right now, I don’t get randomly locked out of my workflow for days, and I can actually rely on the tool to do my job.

I don’t want to cancel my Antigravity subscription, but come on. We are paying for a premium service and getting beta-level stability and zero support.

Can someone from Google please give us a real update on when the quota bugs will be fixed and when Opus 4.7 is being integrated?

This thing about the quota is a mess.

AG is an incredible tool but since its Claude quota is been reduced dramaticaly, AG is not an option for new devs anymore. And switching to Gemini Pro 3.1 is not a good point cause it’s surprisingly worse.

At least, 1.23.2 is working way better than the last one. It is more stable.
