If you delete the right menu, you will not be able to restore it and you will also be temporarily unable to use chat.
I have exactly the same problem, when will the problem be fixed?
Is anyone else experiencing this complete disaster? I have a huge question for the AI Studio frontend team: what does your QA process look like? Do you just push completely broken builds straight to prod without even opening the page?
My console is literally exploding with errors (endless TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'add') and blocked scripts). The UI is completely dead and unusable. This joke started today around 7:00 AM MSK and persists across multiple browsers and cleared caches.
The funniest part is the AI Studio Status page. According to it, everything is “100% Operational” ))))))))))
Please roll back this update so people can actually get back to work.
Seriously though, what kind of freak ships a completely shattered frontend directly to production with zero testing? Is your entire QA process run by AI now, or did someone just mash the wrong deploy button and say " good enough"?

No idea, dude. But it ain’t new. I knew they’d hit Playground next after the hell they had last few weeks.
They have a SWE issue at the AI Studio team.
They’ve hit the ability to rename chats too. Basic, 2+2, no frills. For what?
I don’t see any new features with this new update.

Answer: I have been checking my chats for the past hour, it seems anything that was being made during the update wasn’t saved (auto-save failed).
And everything else seems okay because I didn’t open them at all, so still safe in Drive, I assume? It’s a question for the team, really.

If the app did reload, some chat might be lost, but it shouldn’t affect anything which was already saved.
