Hi, I’m new to Gemini API, and currently trying to figure out how to make Gemini API Usage more trackable. There are two strange things happening at this moment.
- “Hello” requests every hour each 2, 12, 22…52 and 9, 19, 29…59 minute. We have not configured any heartbeat check. Is it normal to see this regular “hello” request?
- As soon as we set up an ip restriction (whitelisting) on the API key, AI Studio logging stops working. How do we circumvent this? Which IP address should we whitelist as well to avoid this? Is it an expected behavior?
