I set up Firebase Auth for my app but I kept getting logged out.
Eventually I found the root cause: in Google Cloud the Token Service API is disabled, and can’t be enabled unless I upgrade to a paid billing plan (I am on the starter tier). The app relies on the Token Service API to refresh my credentials after an hour/on app restart.
As far as I can tell, the Token Service API is essential for a properly functioning Firebase Auth. Is it supposed to be on and something’s gone wrong, or is the Firebase Auth integration designed to log you out after an hour until you upgrade your Google Cloud account?
