So you use Gemini CLI with Visual Studio Code, no credits issues?
Is everyone going the VScode route instead of Antigravity? Is this the better option to use other cli extenstions using auth accounts?

I did delete the google drive version, any idea how to get it back. Download of the zip is still possible.
I have now taken the steps to use github codespaces, and link paid google API key to roo code within VisualStudio to do app development. Its a work around, but a very slow workaround. Finally been able to download a preview of my app within build, so maybe we are finally starting to see some fixes from google….

Since 3.1 was released I have had lengthy periods where I only see endless animated dots with extremely delayed or no response at all, and occasional error messages. Where is the communication about steps being taken to address these issues?

There hasnt been communication for days annoyingly! Just a standard “expect delays, we are working on this” etc..
Has the AI Studio service returned to normal yet?

It’s easier if the code is backed up to GitHub. Codespace offers a wide selection of AI chat agents. While app development isn’t as easy and fast as with AI Studio, at least progress is being made.
is it just my project or is also publishing not only working now? API keys inside app and inside chat for coding also still stuck as before

For the time being, don’t open the application code you’ve created. Since the anomaly on February 19th, I haven’t opened the application in AI Studio at all because there are too many anomalies in it.

Credits consumed.
Billable hours lost.
For those on pay-per-token plans, the cost multiplies.
For consultants billing $80–$120/hour, this is not friction — it is measurable financial damage. Let me pass you a bill.
Innovation does not excuse negligence.
If you want to improve the interface, fine.
But destabilizing existing projects without preservation or backward compatibility is a user trust breach.
At scale, this isn’t UX iteration.
It’s cost shifting.
You are externalizing experimentation costs onto the very people funding the system.
That is not progress.
That is poor. Negligent.

Since today everything is back up and running fine here. Had the same issues reported here for about a week too. Now everything works like a charm. So there is hope…
