I’m still getting this error. Every file AI Studio creates is empty and just says ‘Permission denied.’ Even though the status says it’s back up, it’s definitely not working for me. I get that accidents happen, but please let us know the truth instead of saying it’s resolved while we’re still stuck.

If you’re getting random “Permission denied” errors, one thing that sometimes works is opening the site in Incognito and trying again. It’s not a real fix, but it helped me regain access temporarily.
It’s honestly tiring that we even have to try stuff like this just to view our own code. Between permissions randomly breaking and features half-working, it feels like we’re doing QA for the platform.
If Incognito works for you, at least use that window to export or push your code to GitHub so you don’t lose your work. Until this is properly fixed, backing up everything feels like the only sane move.

Now a days companies are not taking users complaints seriously.
If you’ve backed up to GitHub, you can run the code using Codespace with the help of the platform’s agent. I’ve reconstructed four applications this way. It’s not as easy or smooth as Google AI Studio, but at least you can get the job done without worrying about losing everything.
Note: My two previous accounts were muted and had their posts deleted by the admin or AI for no apparent reason.

Hi, any idea if thiss issue has been resolved…atleast for some people? Google says no issues as of today but the ai studio still doesn’t work!

This is completely contradictory; nothing is working..They put that warning in the system, so how is it working?
They themselves admit that it’s not working and yet they still keep the status green.

Guys just download your file code and then open it in Antigravity , there it also have gemini and Ai Agent. Because Ai studio is down for more than a week, and Antigravity it’s also from google. I think google wants us to switch to it

Can a relative newbie to coding use Antigravity? I liked aistudio since I could mostly avoid it except for small tweaks. At this point, I’m open to anything that I can use my existing code with to continue my project.

Try with Visual Code Studio. Im newbie and to be honest it works better for me than AI studio … + you have everything saved locally
there are better alternatives. If they want us to switch, they will probably rise up prices in near future pretty fast. If they dont deliver in the near future and make better communication, there is point for using google. There are cheaper alternatives with much better alternatives.

I switched to Antigravity. I did a test to create a simple app with a DB and sign-in auth. Not bad, but it seems like AI Studio has better design skills. I’m cloning a Git project to rebuild and connect it to Firebase. Good thing I backed up to Git because I still can’t load my apps on AI Studio.
Cloude is the best so far. Downloaded all files from AI google studio and working now in Visual Code Studio using Sonet 4.6 … WOW!… that’s all I can say. I can pay 10$ per month for it…now on the one month trail…always can use a free plan too… or switch between accounts and keep going…
I downloaded my project from AI Studio and started using Gemini CLI. I think it is much better, especially for speed.
In AI Studio, when you make a change, the page refreshes. This makes it slower. But with Gemini CLI, I work on localhost, so I can see changes instantly without refreshing the page.
After I connected it to Visual Studio Code, it became even better. I think it is better to use it in Visual Studio Code instead of only using the terminal.
