Does gemini has the ability to convert text to voice? It is, the LLM generates some context, and be able to play that as audio?

Gemini 2.0 has the ability to convert text to speech, this feature is currently in private preview. You need to wait till it’s public release. You can go through this doc to see the new capabilities.

Thanks for confirming. Is this publicly available in Gemini 1.5 or is it a new feature in 2.0?

It’s new feature in 2.0 (Multimodal input and multimodal output), for 1.5 pro (multimodal input and text output).
