TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
I’ve now wasted 3–4 days trying to restore previous versions that were working perfectly.
My App.tsx file has become completely corrupted with UTF-8 garbage, to the point where even the AI Studio IDE itself can no longer read or process it properly.
I’m stuck going in circles, wasting valuable time and credits trying to fix problems that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
I’ve also reported these bugs three separate times through AI Studio, and I haven’t received a single response or any follow-up.
Is this really the only way to communicate with you?
At this point, I’m seriously considering saying goodbye to AI Studio and moving my project elsewhere.
same, just having to stuff in some pads and call it a wreck.. loops and Gems are not working great. i ask it on hackathon rules for 2.5 and 3.5 and up three times and guess what said we are good. no dis q if i would have summited. discourging my friend. rock on next week
I’m having the same problem, but from what I’ve found, it seems to be due to the context window. This is what Gemini itself answered: the systematic concentration of corruption or truncation around that specific line (like the 8524-8530 area) is linked to a structural limit of the context buffer and output tokens of the model within the Google AI Studio environment.
Honestly, I didn’t bother optimizing the code into multiple files, hoping it would do it itself.
