Tab completions are now limited? What is going on? What’s even the point of Antigravity now? It’s become completely useless.
I am getting below with tab completions:
2026-03-06 15:18:36.835 [info] E0306 15:18:36.835313 1807 interceptor.go:74] /exa.language_server_pb.LanguageServerService/HandleStreamingCommand (unknown): RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED (code 429): Quota exceeded for quota metric 'Chat API requests' and limit 'Chat API requests per day per user' of service '``cloudaicompanion.googleapis.com``' for consumer 'project_number:1057887471737'.
All of this is completely false now:
All plans receive:
Use of Gemini 3.1 Pro, Gemini 3 Flash, and other offered Vertex Model Garden models as the core agent model
Unlimited Tab completions
Unlimited Command requests
Access to all product features, such as the Agent Manager and Browser integration
Users on Google AI Ultra or Google Workspace AI Ultra for Business receive:
The highest, most generous quota, refreshed every five hours
I am running into the same issue, tab completions have randomly stopped working.
Where do you see this error? I want to see if I am getting the same
2026-03-06 15:18:36.835 [info] E0306 15:18:36.835313 1807 interceptor.go:74] /exa.language_server_pb.LanguageServerService/HandleStreamingCommand (unknown): RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED (code 429): Quota exceeded for quota metric 'Chat API requests' and limit 'Chat API requests per day per user' of service '``cloudaicompanion.googleapis.com``' for consumer 'project_number:1057887471737'.
I observed that today as well. I am a paying subscriber to Google AI Pro, and I find it perplexing that it is behaving as though it were the free version.
I had been intermittently getting this since the 6th of March as well, as an AI Pro subscriber. Today, just after waking up, and starting work, meaning I hadn’t touched anything antigravity related for a good while, so I’m really baffled by where the resource exhaustion is supposedly coming from.
The thing is, even free version should have unlimited tab completions, at least that’s what’s advertised on Antigravity’s official home page. It seems somehow Google’s AI infrastructure is unable to handle the number of chat requests from tab completions, regardless which plan you are on, but all the other competitors (Cursor, Trae, etc.) can handle much higher amount of requests without problem.
I also received the following error in the output:
“/exa.language_server_pb.LanguageServerService/HandleStreamingCommand (unknown): UNAVAILABLE (code 503): No capacity available for model tab_flash_lite_preview on the server.”
I also noticed on the model quota page that all Gemini models are blocked for 5 hours, and the remaining time does not decrease.
This indicates a lack of resources on the server side. The fix is likely just to wait for Google to add more capacity.
The screenshot you posted shows you have all of your quota available, not that you are blocked. The bright-white line (as shown) is available quota. As you consume quota, the bright-white will retreat to the left, replaced by a dimmer-grey line to the right.
“Refreshes” is probably not the best term. “Refills” might make more sense.
@chunduriv any comments on this? Why are tab completions limited now? This doesn’t align with what’s advertised at all. Why are tab completions tied to Chat API request quota?
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have escalated the issue to our internal teams for a thorough investigation.
To ensure our engineering team can investigate and resolve these issues effectively, we highly recommend filing bug reports directly through the Antigravity in-app feedback tool. You can do this by navigating to the top-right corner of the interface, clicking the Feedback icon, and selecting Report Issue.
