Suspended from Antigravity & Gemini Code Assist (False Positive: Multitasking flagged as bot?)

Hi everyone,

I recently received a Terms of Service suspension notice covering Antigravity, Gemini CLI, and Gemini Code Assist. I have already submitted the official appeal form, but I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone else has experienced this recently.

To provide some context:

  • I only use the official Antigravity IDE.

  • I do not use any third-party tools, unofficial extensions, scripts, or any form of automation.

  • My workflow heavily relies on multitasking. I frequently run multiple chat sessions simultaneously within the official IDE to conduct different development tasks in parallel.

It seems highly likely that the automated security system mistook this high volume of manual, parallel chat requests for bot behavior or a script.

Has anyone else run into a similar false positive simply by having multiple active chat sessions in the IDE? Also, does anyone have experience with how long the appeal process usually takes to resolve this kind of automated flag?

Any insights or help from community moderators would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @vrbarros,

Welcome to the Forum,

Could you please share more details, including when you received the suspension notice? In case you received it within the last week, we are currently rolling out a system-wide automated unban for all affected accounts. We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance the Antigravity experience, #ToS.

Hi,

I received the suspension notice yesterday after using Antigravity for just a few hours.

I was not using OpenClaw or any bots. The only third-party tool I had installed was a browser extension called Antigravity Quota Monitor, which I used simply to track my limits since the official IDE lacks this feature. I suspect this extension triggered the false positive.

Glad to hear about the automated unbans, and I hope my account is restored soon.

Hi, Thanks for the update. If possible can you provide a tentative timeline for system wide unban ?

Hi @vrbarros,

Thank you for providing that extra context regarding the Antigravity Quota Monitor browser extension.

According to the Antigravity Terms of Service, utilizing third-party software, tools, or services to access or interface with the Service is strictly prohibited. The relevant policy states:

You must not abuse, harm, interfere with, or disrupt the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, using the Service in connection with products not provided by us. Using third party software, tools, or services to access the Service (e.g. using OpenClaw with Antigravity OAuth) is a violation of applicable terms and policies. Such actions may be grounds for suspension or termination of your account.

Because this extension was interacting with the IDE and our service endpoints in the background, our systems accurately flagged resulting in the account block.
