Stitch (stitch.withgoogle.com) fails to load – “app-companion-430619.appspot.com refused to connect”

I’m encountering an issue when trying to use Stitch. The page at stitch(.)withgoogle(.)com does not load correctly and instead shows an error message:

“La página app-companion-430619.appspot..com ha rechazado la conexión.”

It appears that the embedded app companion service is refusing the connection, preventing Stitch from functioning at all.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open stitch(.)withgoogle(.)com

  2. Attempt to start or access the app

  3. The error appears instead of loading the interface

Expected behavior:
Stitch should load normally and allow interaction with the app.

Actual behavior:
The page fails to load and shows a connection refused error.

Additional info:

  • Browser: Brave

  • Extensions disabled

  • Happens consistently

I have the same issue, I managed to make it work in Brave browser, but never in Chrome or Opera

UPDATE: If I open an incognito window (from Brave), it lets me use the site without any problems.

it’s happening on Chrome for me, did I loose my deisgns?

Hey @Kamol, sorry for the inconvenience. To clarify, you will not lose your projects unless you delete them yourself. Could you please try a hard refresh of your browser and log back into Stitch? We have checked on our end, and everything appears to be functioning correctly at the moment.

Hi @RISHABH_CHAUHAN just adding to this thread that I am also seeing this issue since the last two to three days. What I can notice is that in my Google Workspace account, it doesn’t seem to be working, while the same page in a personal Chrome account and profile seems to be opening fine without issues.

to any google staff here this bug is haunting for days now even weeks could you please try to fix it i reset my cookes flushed my dns i did everything it only works either on my phone or if i go to brave and turn on private window with tor DID stitch ban me or something cuz i havent done anything yet i just wanna try it ? idk if it was because of some api glitch cuz i turned the mcp server of it on antigravity idk if it was buggy pinged the server too many times and got me hardware banned or something but its so annoying please fix
