Stitch keeps generating dark mode despite light-mode instructions

Hi Stitch Team,

Since this week, Stitch keeps generating dark-mode interfaces, even when I explicitly request light mode.

I’ve tried:

  • Clear “LIGHT MODE ONLY” prompts
  • A detailed DESIGN.md
  • Light-mode reference screenshots
  • Starting new projects

But Stitch still generates dark interfaces. Last week, it worked perfectly with the same workflow.

It seems like something may have changed recently in the generation behavior.

Could you please investigate?

Hey @asma_sahli, sorry for the issue you are facing! Could you please try specifying the following in your design.md file:
Theme: Light Mode Only
Background: #FFFFFF
Primary Text: #0F172A
Dark Mode Classes: DISABLED

Please see if this works or not, and let me know your progress. Thanks!
