Hi Stitch team! First off,I really love using this tool. I know it’s still in the testing phase, so encountering a few bumps is completely understandable. I wanted to report a specific issue I ran into regarding context loss, along with how it impacts the workflow, in hopes it helps with future improvements.
Background:
After several iterations, Stitch helped me generate a beautifully minimalist Knowledge Base UI that I absolutely loved (see attached screenshots). The signal-to-noise ratio and typography hierarchy were spot on.
The Issue:
The problem occurred right after I confirmed this style and Stitch automatically generated a design.md file to summarize the project. In all subsequent prompts, Stitch could no longer reproduce that specific UI. The generated styles drifted significantly, and even when I explicitly asked it to “revert to the previous style,” it couldn’t get it back.
The Consequence:
Because the specific design was lost, all the time and effort spent fine-tuning the pixel-perfect details during the creative session were essentially wiped out. This creates a hesitation to move forward or add new features once a good design is achieved, for fear of breaking the UI.
Thanks for building such an inspiring tool. Keep up the great work!
