Stitch doesnt display new designs on my canvas and claude can't find them

I generated a few sites now for my private project. I was using the designs with claude code. My problem now is, i prompt stitch to generate a new site and it apparently does so and gives me feedback. But new designs stopped to appear on my canvas. Also claude can’t find the newer designs. The part that is bothering me is that when i log into stitch with my mobile device i see all the generated designs. I tried to change the browser delete cache activate/ deactivate hardware acceleration. nothing helps. I only can see the designs in mobile view on my phone. It is kinda unusable right now.

Hey @ogy60, don’t worry, your designs aren’t missing! Sometimes when you generate new screens (especially via external tools like Claude Code), Stitch generates the new pages at spatial grid coordinates that are completely outside your current zoom/pan viewpoint.

Here is a quick fix to bring them back into view right now:

  1. Zoom out completely: Pinch-zoom out all the way to locate where Stitch placed the new pages.

  2. Re-align the canvas: Press Cmd + A on your keyboard to select every screen on the canvas, then click the Align/Organize button in the top toolbar. This will instantly snap them back into view.

  3. Restart the connector: Close the terminal window where your Stitch connector is running and start it back up. Restarting the connection forces the tool to sync and pull those design files down to your local directory so your external tools can see them again.

Once you re-align the grid, everything should pop right up on your monitor!
