Whenever a screen design is updated, Stitch placed it right under the previous version. After several iterations, it ended up with quite many previous versions of the screen so I deleted them, and move the latest version up to where the original version was. However, any modification to the latest version now, still placed the new version right down to where the last latest version was, as if those deleted versions were still on the canvas, just invisible. This then requires lots of scrolling up and down.
Please, can delete means delete, and when changing any screen, the updated the screen always appears right below the screen that was being changed, so that I can easily compare the before and after?
Thanks for catching this, @Conax_Learn. This is a valuable find, and I’m creating a bug to track it internally and will bring it up with the team.
To ensure we can fully understand this unique issue (as it’s new to our generations), could you please provide a screenshot of the canvas where you observed the new design being placed below the deleted designs? Your help here is much appreciated!
Hi Rishabh, thank you for your response. I was reproducing the issue and taking screenshots as I go. But when I tried to submit this reply, I was restricted by “An error occurred: Sorry, new users can only put one embedded media item in a post.” So I can only include the final screen and hope that you understand by my description of how I got there.
Step 1: Let’s say I submitted a prompt to generate screens for a music library and five screens were generated from left to right. Let’s call them screens A1, B1, C1, D1, E1.)
Step 2: I then selected C1 and provided prompt “Make the fields background yellow.” Stitch generated the new screen (C2), but instead of placing it under C1, it placed it right under A1.
Step 3: I then selected C2 and provided prompt “Make the field label bigger and use yellow foreground color”. Stitch generated C3 and placed it right under C2.
Step 4: Say then I liked the design of the C3, so I deleted C1 and C3, and moved C3 to where C1 was (right between B1 and D1).
Step 5: Right after that, I decided to change the color of the bottom button in C3 to green, so I selected C3 and then gave another prompt “Make the bottom button background green.” Stich generated C4 and placed it where C3 was before, instead right under C3 or A1.
Step 6: Say then I ddidn’t like C4 and decided to stick with C3. So I deleted C4. Then I selected E1 and provide a prompt “Include the genre in the list.” Stitch generated E2 and placed it further down the column of A1 instead of right under E1 or A1.
The more iterations of any screens, the further down Stitch will place newly generated screens. This makes it very inconvenient after you go through many screen iterations.

Hey @Conax_Learn thanks so much for this detailed feedback, really helpful for us, we are working on placement of the newly generated screens and will be rolling out the updates soon.
A bug has been filed for this issue and me and my team are on it.
Thanks for the patience and sorry for the inconvenience.
