Did the developer add auto token count? Since one or two days ago, when I type in chat I noticed it already started counting tokens, this sometimes causes the web to freeze at high token amount (~50k) and makes the processing speed much slower

Happening since 2.5 released, extremely laggy and I don’t understand why they have to unload all the previous text at once in the window, just adds to the already lagging UI.
me too, I can’t event type a chat. Must use browser on mobile and lose 671s for file code. So long.

I have the same problem, at 200 thousand tokens it hangs intentionally.
It was working fine up until yesterday 1 April. I thought it was a April Fool’s joke. If I type in the chat (I my current thread has 50k tokens used) the text appears in my chat box 7-10 seconds later. Chrome is up to date, Firefox has just updated but I don’t use Firefox for AI Studio.
