We are a paid Tier 3 account with extensive Gemini API usage. Recently noticed elevated 429 errors and observed 1500 RPD limit for Search Grounding with Gemini 3.x in AI Studio. Per the official pricing guide (https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/pricing), the quota should be:
“5,000 free search requests per month (shared across all Gemini 3.x models), then $14 per 1,000 requests.”
We are happy to pay for the actual usage, but unable to get past this daily limit. Read many similar posts here, but no definitive resolution from Google.
Has anyone been able to solve this?
