Hello,
I’ve been experiencing a consistent issue with Google AI Studio on my MacBook Pro (M3 Pro, 2023, running macOS Sequoia). Whenever I attempt to use screen sharing, I immediately receive the error message: “Something went wrong”, and the session disconnects.
Here is a list of the steps I’ve taken to troubleshoot:
– I tested multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave)
– I gave full permissions in “Screen Recording” and “Accessibility” under System Settings
– I disabled hardware acceleration and adjusted network discovery settings
– I tested in both regular and private/incognito modes
– I booted in Safe Mode to eliminate third-party interference
– I created a fresh user account with no extensions or customizations
– I tested on multiple networks (Wi-Fi and hotspot)
– Microphone input works perfectly – only screen sharing fails
Despite all this, the issue persists on all browsers. Everything works fine until screen sharing is enabled.
Is this a known issue with M3 Macs or macOS Sequoia compatibility?
Any workaround or timeline for a fix would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Martin Robert
