I am experiencing a peculiar issue with Google AI Studio where the “Run” button has stopped functioning in all of my previously created chats. Strangely, when I initiate a new chat, the “Run” button works perfectly as expected.
This problem first appeared this morning, April 15th. I have observed this behavior consistently across the different devices I use to access Google AI Studio:
- Laptop: Toshiba Portege [You can add the specific model if you know it, e.g., Toshiba Portege X30L]
- Mobile: iPhone 14 Pro, using Google Chrome browser.
The fact that the issue persists on both my laptop and my mobile device suggests that it is not specific to a particular device or browser configuration.
To reiterate, the “Run” button is active and functions correctly within newly created chats. However, in every single chat that was created before today, the “Run” button does not respond at all when clicked. There are no error messages displayed on the screen.
This issue is significantly hindering my workflow as I rely on accessing and continuing my work within my existing chat history.
Has anyone else encountered a similar problem? I would greatly appreciate any insights, potential causes, or troubleshooting steps I could try. Any help in resolving this would be highly valued.
