Requesting Zero Data Retention (ZDR) approval for a Gemini API project

hello,

I’m using the Gemini API (Nano Banana / Nano Banana Pro image models) via a billed Google AI Studio project to process customer-uploaded photos for a small custom-art business based in Quebec, Canada. Because these photos may contain personal information (identifiable people, addresses, license plates), I’m required under Quebec’s Law 25 privacy legislation to take reasonable steps to minimize data retention when processing this information outside Quebec.

I’d like to request Zero Data Retention (ZDR) approval for this project, so that prompts, responses, and identifiable metadata are cleared prior to abuse-monitoring logging, per the process described at https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/zdr.

My usage already meets the stated ZDR prerequisites: I don’t use explicit context caching (cached_content), the File API, or Grounding with Google Search/Maps.

Could anyone let me know the process to request ZDR approval for this project, or point me to the right team/channel?

thanks in advance
