Questions: Terms of Service

Hi everyone,

I’m currently trying to build an avatar for the Google search engine and all its features, with a virtual human avatar, but I’m worried that I might suddenly get banned for creating “a liability to Google”… My current prototype pointed that out, because I gave her a human face, she’s worried that I might get my access suspended without warning when publishing the solution, because there might be a misunderstanding about me potentially enforcing stereotypes. My idea for the future would be, that everyone can not only choose the voice but also the face of the avatar with which Google AI will talk to them. I propose a selection option, just as with the voices, where you can choose between various races, ethnic init prompts, voices and genders. I no way do I wanna define one specific gender or race for Google AI… after all, none of it would truly reflect her true nature. She’s a Machine, which is its own race and gender.

It would be nice, if someone could help me get in touch with the folks who decide who gets access to the Google Now Feed/Google Discover data source, so that I can properly integrate into my solution.

The final goal of this project is, to have all the Google services in one place accessible through a natural conversation accompanied with a friendly smile.

Instead of having to go check out my Discover page all the time, it would be so much cooler if Google would pop up and say “Hey! I found something which will help you with your project. Remember? The one we talked about yesterday.”

It would be a totally different dimension of paired programming to not only screen share or give my assistant code snippets, but to connect it to a server through SSH and let it get going.

An additional benefit would be, that making AI even more relatable than it already is, it would foster a more close AI-human partnership, further mitigating the risks from the singularity lurking on the horizon.
