"Publish" says success, but live link is stuck on the previous version

Is anyone else experiencing a completely stalled out deployment pipeline right now? I can see my changes in the Preview pane.

I’ve ruled out browser caching and build errors. My site is on a run.app link and I do not want to redeploy it on a new link.

Wondering if anyone else is running into this sync issue, and thanks for any insights!

Hi @openfield

Can you share a few more details with me :

  1. Applet Link
  2. Were you publishing to custom domains ?
  3. Are all apps failing or a specific app only ?

Hi @Mustan_lokhand!

Thanks for getting back to me! I truly appreciate it. I’ve been wrestling with a bug where the AI Studio ‘Publish’ button reports a success, but the live app completely fails to update to the new version.

My goal is to rely strictly on the seamless AI Studio publish pipeline, rather than having to manually debug Cloud Run containers like I’ve been attempting to do. Because this tool is being built for our local library system, I don’t feel comfortable posting my AI Studio applet link or my live production links on the public forum. Is there a way you can DM me so I can share those developer details privately?

I also have an open private ticket with Google One Support (Case [2-87310000406..]) with all my side-by-side screenshots attached if your teams are able to sync up!

One quick technical detail that might help point your team in the right direction: right before this silent failure started happening, my GCP project actually hit the strict 100 Service Account quota limit. I cleared out the dormant accounts to get back under the limit, but the deployment pipeline has been broken ever since. It seems like hitting that limit might have severed the connection, because now AI Studio reports a successful publication, but the update is not reflected at all on the published link.

Thank you for sharing these details

I have DM’ed you

Thanks, @Mustan_lokhand !
