The sync between the AI Studio project and the target Cloud Run source bucket is stalled. The bucket shows a Last Modified date of April 9 while the editor is being actively updated (April 18)
Summary: AI Studio reports my app as successfully published, but new versions are never actually deployed. The source bucket has not been updated in 9 days despite multiple publish attempts.
Symptoms:
- The Publish tab shows “Your app is published!” with no Update or Republish button visible.
- A dot indicator appears next to both the Publish and Versions tabs, suggesting AI Studio knows there are unpublished changes.
- The Versions tab shows multiple recent versions (most recent: Apr 18, 7:18 AM). The latest is marked “Current” but there is no visible action to promote it to published.
- The live URL continues to serve a version from 9 days ago, confirmed in incognito mode and on cellular from a different device (so not a caching issue).
Diagnostic evidence that this is an AI Studio pipeline issue, not user error or Cloud Run:
