Has anyone else had an issue where a project they’d been working on for weeks/months all of a sudden is no longer found? I’ve checked my cloud storage, and its there, but the tooltip displays unknown, I can double click them to open the message history in the AI Studio playground.
But when I attempt to open the same file URL I’ve been using since memorial day, as of this morning, it just says page not found…
Anyone had this issue, and were able to reverse it?? I don’t really feel like losing over 1000 hours of the project because it decided to remove itself…
The same thing happened to me twice.
Two different applications suddenly ceased to “exist” and return “page not found”.
It appears in the “your apps” tab, but says “created by others”.
Can someone explain please?
The Page not found error usually means the underlying file for your project in Google Drive has either been deleted or you have no permission to access it.
Could you please check if you recently change any permissions on your Google AI Studio folder in Drive, or move it to a Shared Drive? Additionally, are you logged into multiple Google accounts?
Thank you. From the explanation, I now understand that it may have been an “error” with Google Drive. I will do some more tests to verify. Thank you again.
I have access to the last message tree that I edited, this opens up in playground. But its jus tthe text conversation, with some of the code hidden away. But its like 2.9m character long, and trying to sift through all 500+ files and restore every piece of code is not happening.
Is there some sort of automated way that a google team member can to restore the project? I have never gone into google cloud drive before this happened. I have no deleted any of my files in there, explicitly. I’ve deleted several dead projects from my build view, but it has never been the game I’ve been working on.
I have these dead files in the trash can, and none of them are my game.
If it helps any, the file ID is 1nz86Qs_Za-XAkOwjn4jEbeTO7DY8qpbR
A few more things:
Several of the deleted files I have, can be opened and accessed simply by double clicking them, un-deleting them. My game itself is not in there.
I have 2 copies of the game, with very outdated portions of the code (Im talking 300+ hours behind) both of these were created as ‘copies’ of the game in AI Studios, so I could test features I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do - and was afraid it would break the game (And they did lol)
The only thing I can think of is that my actual game code, displays Created by others. So I have a feeling that this is the main culprit, as to why its NOT stored in my specific drive file.
I’ve been using the file that says Created by others for months.
