Pro subscriber - Claude quota showing 7-day lockout instead of 5-hour.? This happened to me only today. It was renewed every 5 hours but today shows me that will be renewing after week..??
This is normal. Both Gemini model quotas and other model quotas have two kinds of quotas:
- Weekly quota
- 5-hour quota

As outlined in the documentation, there is a weekly baseline quota that runs alongside the normal 5-hour refresh system.
For Google AI Pro users, the 5-hour refresh is primarily designed for regular, ongoing usage. However, once the full weekly premium quota is exhausted, the system transitions into a much longer cooldown period until the next weekly cycle resets. This explains why you might observe the wait time jump from 5 hours to a multi-day cooldown.
